  The flood has peaked, the water is slowly going down.  

  Today I canoed past too many flooded houses and shops.

  As the water drops it leaves behind a thick, putrid sludge that stinks of oil, mud and sewerage. Almost 12,000 households in the city will be cleaning this sludge from the inside of their homes over the coming weeks.

  If you are in Brisbane and are dry then help your neighbours clean up. If you are anywhere else then donate.  If you can’t donate then please reblog.
